Kazan State Medical University (KSMU) is a public medical university located in Kazan, Russia, and is widely regarded as one of the best medical universities in the country. Established in 1814, it is one of the oldest medical universities in Russia and is especially popular among international students, including a large number from India.
Programs for international students
KSMU offers a 6-year General Medicine program, equivalent to an MBBS in India, taught entirely in English for international students. Other faculties include Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing.

Admission for Indian students

- Age: Applicants must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
- Process: The admission process is based on merit, with applications typically open from June to August for the academic session starting in September.
