The standard medical program at BCCM follows a system popular in the Philippines, combining a pre-medical course with the main medical degree. 

  • Program structure: The MD program is a total of about 5.5 to 6 years, which includes a pre-medical Bachelor of Science (BS) course of 14 to 16 months, followed by the four-year Doctor of Medicine (MD) program.
  • Medium of instruction: The primary medium of instruction is English, which is also widely spoken in the country.
  • Admission requirement (for Indian students): Indian students must qualify for the NEET exam to gain admission. They are also required to clear the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) in order to proceed from the BS program to the MD program.
